The Halandri Parents Social Cooperative Enterprise is proud to announce its partnership with the Margarita Special Vocational Training Centre, registered in Penteli. The Margarita Special Vocational Training Centre was founded in 1979 by a mother who had a child with intellectual disabilities. It is an Accommodation-Day Care Centre for People with Disabilities, while it has been specially certified as a non-profit Social Care organisation, as well as a Specialised Social & Professional Inclusion Centre for this socially vulnerable population group.

On 15/9/2014, the Halandri Parents Social Cooperative Enterprise hired a Margarita trainee, who had actually been long-term unemployed, under an open-ended employment contract, actively contributing to the social and professional inclusion of young people with intellectual disabilities.

The Halandri Parents Social Cooperative Enterprise and the Margarita Special Vocational Training Centre will continue working together, with the aim of performing social actions that are beneficial to local communities, individuals, families, social entrepreneurship and solidarity economy, at a human and practical level.
